In an interview with Kooko, the Bono rapper on the progress of his music career, Kooko mentioned that his career is just going so well as he expects but then he’s working extra harder to make the impossible possible at his camp. He also made a couple of revelations to NewHitzGh.com about his plans for the future, and concluded by communicating a message to Lordina Mahama, the First Lady of the Republic Of Ghana. In fact his words will get you laughing out loud.
Talking about his plans for the future Kooko revealed to NewHitzGh.com that he is in the studio working on some projects on which some big name artistes will feature. He added that his respectable pedigree (his ability to do songs that never fades away) will forever hold out.
“I aim at serving my fans with banger after banger as I’ve been doing.” He said. “My tendency to release songs that never expires is what I wanna keep forever. My Obiaa To is a clear example. I released Obiaa To somewhere November last year but it still sounds fresh in their speakers. I am glad to see day old tracks battling my aged Obiaa To for survival. I am unique”
About his collaborations. “For now I will leave the details undisclosed, however, my fans should expect to see me collaborating with some big name artistes on some of my yet to release songs.”
Kooko officially unleashed to The Eye Of The New Generation his upcoming Peace Concert that is set to be held early December in Sunyani before elections. According to the 3y3 Bono 3y3 Mono 3nfono chanter, that concert is one sensitive quota he can ever contribute to promoting peace in Ghana during and after the elections. He calls on all and sundry to come in and support this initiative with sponsorship (and prayers) to make it a dream come true.
Finally on his Obiaa To song, Kooko mentioned that Lordina Mahama is one ‘real bae’ he’s admired all this while so he (his song) was happy making way into her room and seeing that she sings him.
“My line ‘Lordina to‘ simply means Lordina sings… and not Lordina’s tooshie or ass as people interpret it… ” “Lordina is one real bae who sings me very well and I love being with her in her room… She loves my songs enti Lordina to (so Lordina sings)… wish she were here to hear me out.”
